In New York, a YouTuber from Pakistan was shot and killed. He was in the city reporting on the events leading up to the 2024 World Cup T20 between India and Pakistan.

At the T20 World Cup 2024 in New York, on June 9, the national cricket teams of India and Pakistan faced off. Horrible news has arisen from somewhere. Owing to his celebrity status, the match was widely reported by international media. Attending the match in the city was even a Pakistani YouTuber. Pakistani media reports state that a security guard interviewing a YouTuber named Saad Ahmed was shot and killed during the build-up to the India vs. Pakistan game at Nassau County Stadium.

In an apparent attempt to obtain the guard’s byte as well, the YouTuber allegedly went to the mobile market in New York and recorded the shopkeepers before holding the microphone in front of him. Saad made an effort to consider his opinions and wanted to include the aforementioned security guard in his reportage. Nevertheless, the guard persuaded Saad not to pressurize him into filming because he wasn’t excited about it.

The YouTuber was fatally shot by the guard after he finally lost control. Saad was reportedly taken to the hospital in a hurry, but according to reports, ARY news reports that he was pronounced deceased when he arrived.

Saad’s acquaintance asserted that he was his family’s only source of income. Before the YouTuber left to cover the build-up to the match, the friend had a conversation with him.

Prior to being shot, the YouTuber may have been conversing with the guard, according to nearby CCTV footage. According to reports, the police have taken the guard into custody.

“He continued filming while holding the microphone up to my face. The guard was cited as stating, “I lost my temper and fired at him,” on Instagram.

Pakistan is on the verge of elimination from the T20 World Cup 2024 after losing to India on Sunday by a score of six runs.
