Additionally, Kohli acknowledged that surpassing Sachin Tendulkar’s 49-ODI century mark would be a “emotional moment” for him.
Recently, Virat Kohli spoke candidly about a variety of life events, including his early years and the emotion he felt after finally scoring his long-sought 71st international century.
“I admit that I erred frequently while serving as captain with no remorse. But I can say with certainty that I have never acted out of self-interest. From the first day to the last day, I may take assurance. I just had one objective: to move the team ahead. Failures will continue to occur, but my goal was never misplaced,” he said in a Let There Be Sport episode on Disney Plus Hotstar when discussing his time there.

From the first day to the last day, I may take assurance. I just had one objective: to move the team ahead. Failures will continue, but the intention was always correct.Speaking on his time as captain, he remarked in an episode of Let There Be Sport on Disney Plus Hotstar.
“Before I reached 100, I thought, ‘Oh, I’m on 94; I could probably get this.'” The following ball was a sixer. But the point is, I started laughing so hard as soon as I reached 100. Regarding his 71st century, he stated, “I was like,’main iske liye ro raha tha 2 saal se?'”
“Like just for these two seconds, I permitted myself to experience that? When that instant came, it did. The sun rises again the following day. It wouldn’t last indefinitely. It’s not like I got a perfect score and now I get to relive this experience forever. I laughed uncontrollably because it was so funny. This is all there is, I thought, he continued.
Additionally, Kohli acknowledged that it would be a “emotional moment” for him to surpass Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI hundreds.
When asked what he thought about accomplishing that goal, Kohli responded immediately, “It will be a very emotional moment for me.”
During the meeting, Kohli also emphasised the value of sports and shared his early experiences of playing cricket with older boys.
“Sports instill life lessons such as discipline and planning. It broadens your perspective and helps you become more effective. No matter what line of work you are in, playing sports has tremendous value.
“Teach them, don’t just make them [students] play sports. The vice principal of his school gave him the advice to follow cricket diligently, which relieved the burden of his schoolwork. It is crucial to teach them the finer points of what it means to play a sport, Kohli continues.
