Suryakumar Yadav was the star of the show with a brilliant knock of 83 in 35 balls as Mumbai Indians defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) by a score of emphatic six wickets on Tuesday (May 9), moving them up to third place in the standings.
This was Suryakumar’s highest score in the IPL, and MI completed the innings with 21 balls remaining to significantly improve their Net Run Rate (NRR), which could be crucial with so many teams closely matched on the points board. Also scoring a half-century in 34 balls was Nehal wadhera.
With a 6-wicket victory over RCB, Suryakumar Yadav’s brilliance helps Mumbai Indians move up to third place!
