India’s cricket team got a huge victory of 200 runs over the West Indies in the third and final ODI match of the three-match ODI series and clinched the series by a score of 2-1. The risk of benching Captain Rohit Sharma and star Virat Kohli, especially after facing defeat in the second ODI, finally paid off as all-rounder Hardik Pandya truly lived up to the expectations. With Ishan Kishan scoring 77 runs and Shubman Gill scoring 85 runs, India had a solid platform, and Hardik himself remained unbeaten at 70 to take India to a massive total of 351 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 50 overs. Later, the hosts were bundled out for just 151.
With such a massive Victory, Team India also registered their highest ODI total without any player hitting a century. Earlier in 2005, India had scored 350 at the loss of six wickets against Sri Lanka, where no batsman had smashed a century.
