On July 22, at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, India Women and Bangladesh Women will square off in the third ODI of the India Women Tour of Bangladesh. India and Bangladesh each have one victory after the teams have played two one-day international matches (ODIs). Both clubs would want to win this game in order to tie the series.
At the same location as Bangladesh Women won the toss and chose to bowl in their most recent match, these two teams squared off. India began gingerly on the slow, winding terrain. However, Smriti Mandhana was unable to continue for very long. She was out of commission until Jemimah Rodrigues and Harmanpreet Kaur took over, and boy, did they play well. While Jemimah missed her well-deserved century, they both reached their respective fifties. 228 runs, a respectable total, were managed by the India Women.
Bangladesh would have liked to have been able to repeat their batting performance from their last game, but they were unsuccessful. They were in trouble at 2 for 14 until Fargana Hoque entered the crease and righted the ship. She batted calmly for 47 runs, making it appear as though Bangladesh will be able to reach the finish line. The partnership was broken by Devika Vaidya as she continued her incredible run, and the entire batting order collapsed like a house of cards. India Women recovered scores and won the match by a large margin of 108 runs after going from three for 106 to all out for just 120.

Pitch Report: The pitch at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium is favourable for bowlers. Because they extract certain twists and bounce from the track, spinners can be very important in the game. On this pitch, batsmen who can counter spin have a better chance of scoring large. The average first innings score is 136, with teams choosing to bowl first after winning the toss.
