Gujarat Giants lost to Delhi Capitals in the Cricket Women’s Premier League 2024 last night at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru by a score of 25 runs.
Delhi, who were put to bat first, scored 163 runs for eight in the allotted 20 overs, thanks to 55 runs from captain Meg Lanning. Meghna Singh took four wickets in favour of Gujarat.
Gujarat could only manage 138 for 8 in 20 overs in response.
Out of the five teams involved, Gujarat Giants is the only one that hasn’t won any of their first four games this season. Delhi Capitals, on the other side, have won three of their first four games and are now atop the standings.
