The Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals, the two winners from the previous season, will open the five-team league’s new season on February 23 at Bangalore’s Chinnaswamy Stadium.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) revealed the schedule for the 2019 season on Wednesday. They also confirmed that Bangalore and Delhi will host the Women’s Premier League (WPL) second edition. While the first half of the season will take place in Bangalore, Delhi will host the final 11 games, including the elimination round and championship game.
