This year’s WPL will feature about 22 games, with the top two finishers advancing straight to the championship game.
The Delhi Capitals, the previous year’s finalists, will play the reigning champion Mumbai Indians on February 23 in the inaugural game of the Women’s Premier League’s second season at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Bengaluru will host the elimination round on March 15 and the final on March 17. The entire season will take place in Bengaluru and Delhi.
This year, the WPL will include 22 games, with the top two finishers advancing straight to the championship game. In the eliminator, the spots in second and third will square off.
The Mumbai Indians, captained by Harmanpreet Kaur, won the first World Premier League by defeating the Delhi Capitals by a margin of seven wickets.
