Yuvraj Singh publicly chastised Abhishek Sharma after he was run out in the first T20I against Bangladesh.
India openers Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson attempted to get the team off to a good start against Bangladesh in the opening T20I on Sunday, chasing a modest goal of 128 runs. Abhishek was run out for 16 runs off 7 balls, just when the partnership appeared to have settled in. The batter’s expression was filled with disappointment when he lost the wicket in such a way. Despite the fact that India won the match by a large margin, Abhishek received criticism.
“Every run, every ball—it’s all for the team,” Abhishek said on Instagram following the end of the first Twenty20 International.
One of the best Indian cricketers of his generation, Yuvraj Singh, who coaches Abhishek, didn’t hold back and made a pointed remark on the opening batter’s post.
Yuvraj wrote, “Only if we apply our brains properly.”
Beyond the customary link between a former and present cricket player from India, Yuvraj and Abhishek have a special bond.
“It is thanks to him that I am able to play at this level. the effort he has invested in me. He has put up a lot of effort over the last two to three years, not just on my cricket game but also off the field, Abhishek stated in the video.
