Sohail Khan recently called out Virat Kohli for previously disrespecting him.

Former India opener Gautam Gambhir has long been a target of Pakistani journalists. The 41-year-old was humiliated by a Pakistani journalist, Nadir Ali, who called him “4 feet Rajpal Yadav ka bhai” this time. He continued to insult the former cricketer before former Pakistan pacer Sohail Khan intervened and asked to change the subject because he prefers not to discuss the cricketer.

Meanwhile, Gambhir is no stranger to the game. Pakistani journalists have slammed him for his political remarks about the country. When Gambhir’s name could have been avoided in the show, especially when they were discussing Shoaib Akhtar, Nadir Ali called him out and referred to him as ‘Karele ka first cousin’ for his bitter comments about Pakistan in the past.

The anchor also revealed that Gambhir previously stated that India should never play a series against Pakistan. Sohail was taken aback by all of this and remarked, “He speaks against Pakistan? “Woh bhi log sunte hai (people also listen to that)?”

Following that, Nadir most likely misquoted a statement made by Gambhir to the Times of India prior to the Asia Cup 2018.

“If you want to ban someone from playing, you should ban them from playing every form of cricket, whether it’s Asia Cup or ICC events. Conditional bans are not permitted in sports. You can’t say we won’t play bilateral series, but you can’t say we won’t participate in ICC events or the Asia Cup. Why not play bilateral series if you want to play Pakistan in the Asia Cup? If you don’t want to play Pakistan in bilateral series, don’t play them in Asia Cup or ICC events. That is a decision that the BCCI and the government must make,” Nadir said, mocking the Indian cricketer for his remarks.

Meanwhile, tensions between India and Pakistan have resurfaced. Jay Shah, the BCCI secretary, has publicly stated that the Men in Blue will not travel to Pakistan for the upcoming Asia Cup. They want the venue changed, and if that does not happen, they will abandon the continental cup. However, no decision on the competition’s future has been made.
