AUS are set to host England in the 1st T20I match at Perth Stadium on Sunday. The star all-rounder Marcus Stoinis is set to return from his injury and this is his last chance to impress ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 starting on October 16. Management has decided to rest their pace trio of Cummins, Hazlewood, and Starc alongside Maxwell and Zampa for the 1st match. England beat PAK in the seven-match away T20I series by 3-4 despite missing their senior key players. They are further boosted by the return of the star batter and captain Buttler for this series. Stokes and Livingstone also return to the squad but the latter is not available for the 1st match. The star pace bowlers Woakes and Wood are also part of the sqaud which gives them an upper hand on Perth’s bowling-friendly pitch.
