Suryakumar Yadav’s blistering century propels India to a 2-1 victory in the T20I series.
Suryakumar Yadav hit a century as India totalled 228 for five against Sri Lanka in the third and final T20 International on Saturday. Suryakumar struck an undefeated 112 off 51 balls. Batting first, India lost Ishan Kishan (1) early on, but Shubman Gill (46), Rahul Tripathi (35) and Suryakmar bolstered the hosts with a flurry of powerful smashes at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium. Tripathi’s runs came off only 16 balls and featured five fours and two sixes. But Suryakumar stole the show with seven fours and nine sixes.
