The BCCI released a statement according to which “the inaugural game will have a rescheduled start and will commence at 8:00 PM IST on Saturday.” The toss will take place at 07.30 IST. The gates will open for fans at 4 p.m. IST, and they will be able to witness the grand opening ceremony, which will start at 6:25 p.m. IST. Bollywood stars and singers will also be there for the opening ceremony of the WPL.
WPL is giving a chance to the women cricketers to shine as brightly as they can, although this has taken a long time to be here. This league will be held for 23 days, and 20 matches along with two play-offs will be played for 87 women cricketers from 7 nationalities.
